2026 Thistle Hall Exhibition

Join us at the Thistle Hall Community Venue for a week-long immersion into traditional and contemporary Japanese artistry. This exhibition brings together intricate textiles, paper crafts, and theatrical masks, offering a unique glimpse into the heritage and creativity of Japan.

Daily Events & Workshops
Tue 3 March
- Opening Event: Hina Matsuri – Starting at 5:30 PM
- Matcha Tea Ceremony (Booking essential through Eventfinda): Experience a live demonstration. The first five guests will receive a complimentary bowl of matcha and a light snack.
- Ama-zake: Enjoy a taste of this traditional fermented rice drink (limited quantities available).
Wednesday, 4 March & Thursday, 5 March
- Chiku-Chiku Cafe (Social Stitching): After 4pm.
- No registration required.
- Bring your current stitching project, enjoy the atmosphere, and share your work with fellow enthusiasts.
Friday, 6 March
